
Francisco Jose Amador
A specialist in digital transformation and innovation with a strong technology background, Francisco Amador has been the director of the digital transformation unit at GFT since 2016. This cross-functional unit (including experts in the fields of innovation, research, experience and development) specialises in implementing digital solutions in response to digitalisation challenges. Between 2013 and 2016, Francisco defined, built, launched and managed the GFT digital innovation lab, a co-creation space fuelling the adoption of disruptive technologies and new business models to create innovative customer-centric digital solutions. Previously, he worked as an architect in projects involving different front-end, services and back-end technologies and platforms. Besides his work at GFT, Francisco is a visiting professor at the Institute of Stock Exchange Studies (IEB) and the International University of La Rioja (UNIR). He holds a degree in computer engineering from the University of Granada and an executive education diploma in digital banking innovation from IEB.
