GFT goes festival – meet the future

After its debut two years ago in Karlsruhe, the CODE_n new.New Festival is now coming to Stuttgart! From October 8 to 10, the focus in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Hall will be on Intelligence X.0. Under this motto, the second edition of the festival will be setting the scene for open discussion on artificial intelligence. We invite you to discuss exponential technologies with our GFT experts, experience a design sprint live and gain some first insights into software development.

CODE_n has chosen Stuttgart for the event not only because it’s the home of GFT, but also because it’s a vibrant hub and home to numerous manufacturing companies in the region. As further festival participants like Daimler, EnBW, Trumpf, Kärcher, Voith and ZF show, GFT is in the best of company – Baden-Wuerttemberg is a driving force of innovation, an engine running at full speed. While the business models of our clients from the finance and insurance industries are already digital by nature, production companies are now also increasingly connecting and networking the physical and digital worlds. The fourth industrial revolution – Industry 4.0 – along with exponential technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain and the cloud are opening up undreamt-of opportunities.

Getting to grips with GFT

Is software development a bit of a closed book to you? Then why not visit us on our stand? Our experts will be providing an overview on each day: Software for dummies – how to run a professional software project. We’ll show you what software projects are all about and that they need professional planning and implementation – from design thinking to running the actual application.

On our GFT stand, we’ll show you what normally takes place behind closed doors. Visitors will be able to see directly for themselves how a design sprint really unfolds. From 9am to 3pm on all three days of the festival, real clients will go through the process in real design challenges – the birth of a software solution. Our experts will also be on hand the whole time to explain exactly what’s going on. GFT developers from Italy and Poland will then immediately take the results and sink their teeth into the next step of the software development process. The following morning, customers and festival visitors will then be able to see the initial outcomes of the design sprints.

The human component of artificial intelligence

Interested in innovative technology? Our experts are looking forward to an active exchange of views and experience on the topics of blockchain and IoT. Why now join our daily discussion rounds directly on the stand? Of course, you can also follow our presentations live on the Tech Stage or experience our Digital Innovation Lab as part of a virtual reality tour. And if you first thought of robots when you read the festival motto about artificial intelligence, you won’t be disappointed. Sophia, the humanoid robot and perhaps the most famous robot of all, is of course also attending the festival. GFT CEO Marika Lulay is already looking forward to an encounter with her. We’re sure they’ll have a lot to talk about. The human component is all the more important when it comes to leadership and progress in this age of artificial intelligence, as Marika Lulay will explain in her keynote address on Digital Leadership, which will be presented on the main stage on Tuesday afternoon.

There will be a number of evening events to provide the perfect conclusion to each day at the festival, from the Pioneers’ Dinner, the highlight on the Tuesday evening, to the award show with the announcement of the CODE_n CONTEST winner, and of course the speed dating session on the final evening for start-ups and enterprises to meet face to face. Networking is the name of the game here. Simply ask if you would like to get to know GFT better. We would also be happy to link you up with one of our HR colleagues.
