Enterprise Service Management for the Financial Sector – GFT at the ServiceNow NowForum in London
“Innovate or Die.” That was the quote at Blockbuster. You really need to believe in innovation if you don’t want to be the next Blockbuster. With those words ServiceNow founder Fred Luddy wants to make the ServiceNow community that attended the NowForum event on October 9 in London aware of the need for innovation. Not just the idea of innovation, but the actual belief and execution of it. If you’re not innovative and don’t look at market expectations and market opportunities you risk losing business. “Customers are either going to make us or break us”.
The IT department of today has to change to become the backbone of the modern enterprise. IT Service Management will be replaced by Enterprise Service Management, which includes the whole environment inside and outside the enterprise. “Businesses need to do internal disruptions to innovate, to not miss the boat”.
That is where ServiceNow becomes involved. It is a Software as a Service based solution and a leading provider of cloud-based services to automate enterprise IT operations. It transforms enterprise IT by automating and standardising service relationships and consolidating IT across the global enterprise.
GFT is the only ServiceNow partner specialising in Financial Services and was delighted to provide Gold sponsorship of the NowForum event. Nearly 800 attendees came to be part of this one-day event, participate at breakout sessions and network with peers. Visitors were very keen to see how GFT has extended its offering as a CreateNow partner to solve real Financial Services business problems and to find out more about the integration with QlikView and the Sony SmartWatch.
Many of the visitors were especially interested in our Quality Assessment Service, a service that enables ServiceNow users to measure the risk of their implementations and to ensure that best practices are followed. Our experts were happy to demo this service and show the value of it for several organisations.
