Great interaction with the team, professionals and customers all at the same time at the QlikView Business Discovery World Tour
On Tuesday, the 22nd of October, QlikView hosted its Business Discovery World Tour at The Brewery in the heart of London. GFT did not miss this event and attended as premium sponsor.

The Business Discovery World Tour brings every year business and IT leaders together and they take the chance to discover the new trends in driving improvements in data analytics, business insight and reporting. Moreover QlikView offers with this event a unique platform to network and exchange insights with peers.
One day before the main event some of our colleagues already got the chance to learn before everyone else what has been announced on the main event. The briefing featured QlikTech execs Anthony Deighton (CTO) and Jeff Boehm (VP of Product Marketing).
The agenda of this one day event was full of speeches from expert speakers, peer case studies or panel discussions. More than 900 delegates registered for the event, among them nearly 50% of prospects. Important banks and companies that attended the event were Barclays, JP Morgan, ICAP or British Gas. GFT was present with a great team, inter alia the delivery experts from Spain.
“Business Discovery Expertise from GFT and QlikView” was the central theme at our booth. We presented visitors our unique offering – we turn their QlikView solution into an Enterprise Managed Service across their organisation.
The presence of our delivery experts at the event was for the clients as well as for the team a great experience. Jeyachandran Kasimani said: “I thought the presence of the delivery team sharing the experience and empathising with customers was unique. They spent a really good time with the team.” It was a great experience for us to deal with prospects and in addition our delivery team attended the breakout sessions to learn more about Big Data, QlikView or Business Discovery.
The visitors at our booth could not only take advantage of the GFT expertise but also from our nice give aways like universal adaptors, pens or stressballs.
Our objectives of the event were firstly to get new contacts and prospects and secondly to raise GFT brand awareness. Thanks to the great effort of all team members we could accomplish these goals successfully. We aroused the interest of many prospects and are already getting in touch with them to increase our customer network.
For GFT it was not only an opportunity to find out more about future trends or to network with peers but it was also the first encounter with QlikView after signing the QlikView partnership with business discovery pioneer QlikTech.
To round this successful day off delegates and sponsors got together for some networking drinks with cartoonists and magicians, sponsored by GFT.
