Meet the CODE_n13 Finalists – Carbon Control
Next up of our local finalists for the CODE_n13 contest is CARBON CONTROL™. One of the 50 finalists who have demonstrated that they offer an IT-based concept for sustainable energy supply and usage, CARBON CONTROL™ will presented at CeBIT in Hannover in early March.

CARBON CONTROL™ addresses the CODE_n13 theme of Smart Solutions for Global Challenges with its independent stamp of approval. CARBON CONTROL™ brings consumers and companies together in a powerful campaign to combat climate change and its destructive effects on our planet. This mark assures consumers that the goods and services displaying the mark are sourced from companies that are carefully controlling their carbon emissions and committed to reducing them.
Companies are eligible for the stamp of approval provided they fall into one of CARBON CONTROL’s™ 4 carbon emission reducing categories. These categories take scope 1 and 2 emissions into account and include the management and reduction of emissions as well as commitment to making reductions year on year.
The CARBON CONTROL™ mark verifies a company’s positive action to reduce its carbon emissions. The Dublin-based organisation is offering businesses a way to prove they are managing their environmental impact and is encouraging consumers to purchase from companies displaying the CARBON CONTROL™ mark.
GFT is one of the sponsors of CODE_n13, so we’re looking forward to seeing the digital pioneers from Carbon Control showcased in the CODE_n Hall (16) at CeBIT. Come and visit us there!
